CARING FOR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS

The word care means to pay attention or pay attention to something. Caring means paying attention to something. So, social care means an attitude of paying attention to and or ignoring the affairs of other people (fellow community members). Social care is meant not to interfere in other people's affairs, but rather to help solve problems faced by other people with the aim of goodness and peace.

Humans were created by God as social beings, namely creatures who are always in relationship with each other. Cooperation with other people can be fostered properly if each party has social concerns. Therefore this trait is highly recommended by Islam. The opposite of social care is selfish.

In Surah Al-Kausar Allah swt says:

Indeed, we have given you (Muhammad) many blessings. So pray for your Lord, and sacrifice (as worship and draw closer to Allah). Indeed, it is those who hate you who are cut off (from Allah's mercy).

Surah Al-kausar above explains that Allah has given many blessings to the Prophet Muhammad. God's creatures, including humans, also get God's blessings every day. Therefore, we are commanded to pray and sacrifice.

The implementation of these two commandments is proof of gratitude for the abundance of God's many blessings. After the command to pray followed by the command to sacrifice. Sacrifice is worship that has two dimensions, namely: worship of Allah and social worship. This social worship is related to caring attitude.
